How will we find the boat on the first day?
We send you a detailed Welcome Pack with a map, official google address of the marina, and all transport options from arrival hubs to the marina. We can also prebook Private Transfers so you will have a driver meeting you and bringing you to the embarkation point.
What days do your holidays start and finish?
Our guaranteed 7 night tours start and finish on these days:
- Saturday to Saturday
- Sunday to Sunday
- Wednesday to Wednesday
For Tailored Private Yacht Tours we are here to check you in on most other days. It is practical for short trips to start up until Monday or Tuesday and we do offer shorter trips depending on availability so email us for further information.
Where can we sail from?
We sail from Costa Rica - The Marina is only 20 minutes drive from the international airport in Liberia
Mallorca - how much money should i budget for food and yacht running costs?
The average for a 6-8 guest party will be $100 per adult per day. This amount includes estimates for all breakfasts, lunches, evening meals, wine with dinner, and the yacht and skipper running costs.
Are there other costs we need to be aware of?
Yes. The yacht running costs are not included in your payments so far so you will need to pay for these as they are incurred.
This collective term includes: Mooring Fees, Diesel top-up and Skipper & Hostess food and meals plus tips. These are estimated at the time of enquiry according to the boat and number of guests.
Is the kitchen onboard equipped?
Every yacht has a fully equipped onboard kitchen with everything - refrigeration, oven, stove, cutlery, crockery and pots/pans.
The kitchens are mainly used for simple breakfast and lunch preparation, but rarely used for dinners because the majority of guests prefer to eat onshore.
Of course if you decide to anchor on one of the evenings then cooking onboard is fine.
Who does the initial food shopping/provisioning?
You will have time before departure to shop for your initial groceries so wait to speak with your skipper.
Do the marinas have a proper address that I can type into google?
Yes. The full address are published on our website and provided in the Welcome Pack with a map on where to meet us.
Do I need a passport or valid identification with me?
Yes. You must hold a valid passport at all times during your stay in Costa Rica. Please do not make travel arrangements until you have a valid passport.
For British Citizens, detailed and up-to-date passport information to obtain or renew your passport can be found by visiting the government website www.ukpa.gov.uk. The UK Passport Office suggests passports be valid for at least six months after your return. To obtain your passport please visit www.ips.gov.uk
I have heard there are costs at checkin. Where do you present these?
We include all checkin day charges in our offers so you have no hidden charges on arrival. We are also the only company to provide an estimate of the yacht and skipper running costs for the boats offered, and include all Croatian Tourist Taxes as well.
